The tours offer visitors an incredible experience for sports and music fans alike and will take you into areas that the general public never get to see, places only the performers and star players get to use.  This tour will allow you to walk in the footsteps of your childhood heroes and sporting legends.

The Beano at Wembley

From 1st – 13th April in honour of the special edition Wembley issue of The Beano, the stadium is playing host to Dennis the Menace.  Families are invited to come and join Dennis on an incredible journey discovering everything to be found inside the stadium.  Dennis the Menace will be there in person to interact with the kids and all of the children that join the tour will receive a free copy of The Beano, as well as being able to play in a special ‘Spot Dennis’ game.

The Stadium Tour

During the tour of the stadium you will get to visit the VIP areas.  The ‘VIP Club Wembley Middle Tier’ offers unbelievable views of the stadium, then there is the press conference room when the team managers hold all of their press conferences after their matches, the players tunnel that every young football mad boy dreams of being able to run out onto the pitch from, and the royal box.  Visitors will also get to enter the dressing room for the England home team where they spend time preparing for every international match played here.  You will be able to see what they see, go where they go and have a Wembley experience that most of the people that come and sit in the stadium never get to experience.

Past Present and Future

Some of the history of the stadium is brought to light on the tour, and visitors will be able to view the actual Olympic Torch from the 1948 games, as well as the now infamous goal crossbar from the 1966 World Cup.  With a great history of holding championship finals Wembley is set to host the 2012 Olympic men’s and women’s football finals, a tour of the stadium now will allow you to see all of the preparations for these important games taking place.

To give you some idea of the international stage that will view these games, the 2011 UEFA Champions League final was watched by 300 million people worldwide and the Olympic matches look set to draw a much bigger international audience.  The stadium has won the prestigious ‘Best Sports Tourism’ trophy and is a Visit England Quality Tourist Attraction, so you can be sure of an exciting day here, that offers some incredible once in a lifetime photo opportunities.  It is not to be missed on a visit to London.
